Training Philosophy

Training Philosophy
Our club strongly promotes positive reinforcement in all training endeavors. Learning should be FUN! Treats, toys and play are integrated as the motivators and the reinforcers. We discourage the use of “No” or any type of “correction” in agility training. Dogs should play agility because they want to and are having fun. Our instructors can help you build the confidence of a timid dog or help you develop control in an exuberant pup.

Dogs must have basic obedience training and be able to respond to the commands of sit, down, stay/wait and must come when called in the presence of people and other dogs. They must be socialized and non-aggressive towards people and dogs. They should be under control at all times, and kept on leash except when working.
